    Why do you believe that eating raw foods will produce the “healthiest version of” you? I know about the raw foods diet in general, but what are your own thoughts and rationale for it?
    Also, you are based in Seattle? So am I – actually, my wife and I are flying aback tomorrow! I hope to enjoy some blackberries, but might not be there long enough to do it. Anyways, I will be following to see what you do. All the best,

      I do live in the Seattle area. Federal Way. My husband is a Seattle firefighter!

      For me/us, I believe it’s providing me with exactly what I need. Cooking definitely destroys nutrients I guess we all know that. Spinach for instance, whither a down to almost nothing when heated up even a tiny bit. And I feel “healthy” in my mind and soul. It’s the easiest, most satisfying way for me so far. In the winter months I’ll add more HCLF foods in my diet. But for now this is just what I’ve needed.

      Oh and it has helped me tremendously with my digestion. 😉

        That makes intuitive sense, but I have also heard that cooking can, at least in certain cases, release nutrients that would otherwise not be absorbed by the GI tract. So I am not quite sure for myself; I agree with the concept of raw foods diet, but maybe not as a universal rule.
        Anyway, I am glad to see someone from my neck of the woods. Try my “raw vegan chocolate marble tart” and let me know what you think!
